Re: Ben-Gvir calls on soldiers to ‘kill’ not arrest Palestinians who surrender in Gaza

Stepped it up in 1967. Attempted to sink the U.S.S. Liberty, killing 34, wounding 170. Our president, Lydon Banes Johnson called back Navy pilots sent to intercept the Israeli fighter jets and torpedo boats. He said, “we don’t want to embarrass and ally”. By then, Israel had the bomb. President Kennedy tried to prevent Israel from developing the bomb, sending terse letters to Ben-Gurion. President Kennedy’s reasoning was this: Israel with the bomb would become more belligerent in the ME. The exchange of letters was not long before his assassination. I,for one, would add Israel to the list of people who wanted him dead.
