“Another Lost Cause” might well be the banner and war cry for the Neoconservatives. everything they’ve touched over the last 40 years, every policy, program or war, without fail, has turned to sh!t. after the whole world watched the abject failures in Iraq and Afghanistan, when all the associated lies could no longer be papered over, i thought they were done. but no – they just repackaged their rhetoric in more liberal-friendly terms and shacked up with Democrats. Nuland, the Kagans, Kristol, etc all threw in with the Clinton faction after just a couple years in the woods. and has there been a more consistent advocate for Neoconservative policy in the upper echelons of US gov than Joe Biden?
nothing ever sticks to these guys. Biden will probably be no less lionized in US political circles than Bush the Younger. and the day before the Neocons of both Parties are permanently disgraced and removed from power is the day they punch in the launch codes. power is their only principle.
