The Arabs consider themselves to be a very special people, there are so many things that they have in common: language, food, music, dance, culture. The Arabs of Morocco are very proud of their Arabic heritage just like the Arabs of Yemen. They have a strong sense of belonging to one another and whenever undesirable events are taking place in any of the Arab countries, the pain is felt by the entire Arab populations. To demonstrate to you how much the Arabs have a strong sense of pride in being Arabs, I will tell you a story about how my father used to make me and my brother and sister to memorize the first names of the ancestors going back ten generations. Whoever was able to remember all the names of the ten ancestors was given a prize and I always got the prize because I was the oldest and therefore easier for me to memorize them. Now let me switch over to you: no doubt remains today that the European Jews are completely European because their DNA says that they are 100% European and DNA is never wrong and you know that. But if somebody was to ask you to tell them the names of your ancestors, you are going to say: Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, right? ( I started laughing).
