This is a performative political narrative. A fiction. The US has already sent Israel enough bombs to continue the genocide. That is the plan because Israel is at the end of the line and no one takes the US seriously. The ceasefire deal negotiated by Qatar and Egypt was a solid deal. Return of hostages over 3 42day periods, reconstruction beginning, the standing down of Hezbollah, Ansarullah, & Iraqi militias, and an ultimate total cease fire. Netanyahu turned it down. Why?
Because Israel is no longer calling the shots in the region. They are a global outcast, a pariah, a death cult masquerading as an ethno religious group when really they are a white supremacist colonial clan. 500K Israeli have left the country, and another 150K have left southern Lebanon for hotels in Tel Aviv, because Hezbollah is bombing the area and the IDF can’t defend the civilians nor themselves. So what does Israel do. Clear Bedouins out of Negev to steal their land while stealing more land on the West Bank. And the US, the thunderous blabbering defender of democracy does nothing. If this were Iraq, the US would sanction it, go to the ICC, and then deliver the usual carpet bombing shock and awe reserved for the brownies it loathes. The dress has fallen off US foreign policy too. its democracy is a bloated dying ruptured corpse where reality has overwhelmed the narrative. And the global community knows it.
