It is Hamas that destroyed their educational system, and much of Gaza by committing the genocidal attack on Israelis on Oct 7. Hamas had to know from the very beginning that if they massacred enough Israelis, raped women, and rounded up hundreds of hostages of all ages, that it was not going to go well for the people of Gaza that Hamas imbeds itself with.
