The death toll estimates we read in the mass media are continuously sourced to the Gazan Ministry of Illnesse, which has been defunct for over four months. But somehow the numbers keep getting printed.
Now the WHO seems to estimate similar quantities, but neither the WHO nor the UN seem to quantify the number of combatants under the age of eighteen years, that are killed in combat. Where do ‘child soldiers’ fall within the statistics is a mystery. But it is no mysterious that these combatant ‘children’ are dead … RIP.
