“MEMO does censor some views”
In terms of articles sure, but I’m been tough of Memo, Hamas, and Islam and I’m still here. If spent decades debating online I’ve debated at many major western news sources that have a comment section. I gave a kit of first hand experience. There is a lot more censorship of comments on most western websites than here on MEMO.
In terms of private ownership of websites, it’s the owners so they have a right to censor even if I think its wrong. The can benefit or suffer the consequences of their censorship choices. It terms of government level censorship that a whole different can of worms. Unless we want to end up like China with AI firewars, AI super surveillance. and hyper snowflake debate, protect free speech.
