“Seventy-six years ago, Palestinian Mustafa Abu Awwad and his family were expelled from their home at the hands of Zionist gangs during the 1948 Nakba”.
No one was expelled. Nasser and the Arab armies told Palestinians to get out of the way for them to annihilate the Jews after which they would return to a ‘cleared’ territory.
It did not happen as the Arab armies were repeatedly defeated in 1948, 1967 and 1973.
As they say, the rest is history.
Nakba is just an excuse to lay blame elsewhere for a mistake committed by Arabs.
