His religious mythologies isn’t his only problem . His conceptualization of democracy is off too. He’s against American style citizenship based democracy (rather than ethnic) not only because of his theocratic views but because he sees it as a threat to Jews maintaining a demographic advantage in Israel.
Like every extreme nationalist he thinks his hypocritical position of equal rights for Jews in other states… but oppression of non-Jews in Israel… are sustainable.
The best long term protection for Israel to maintain its identity., and in fact any. state that wants to maintains its identity, is a revisiting of global “human rights’ and “democracy” definitions to deal with this conflict between equal rights and maintaining a homeland. The solution has to be fair for all or it just leads to perpetual conflict
