Does Israel recognize marriages between Jews and non-Jews on Israeli soil?
Doesn’t Israel sometimes now do DNA checks to confirm someone is Jewish before giving them Alayah?
How many non-Jewish migrants does it let in?
Far as I know the Jewish national fund won’t sell land to non-Jews. Imagine a Christian national fund in the US refusing to sell property to Jews. Any bets on whether that wouldn’t be called antisemitic?
And there are a lot of other examples of discrimination in Israel… but of course the same is true of other nations to various degrees. It’s not a particular person, or county. or ethnic group, or religion that the problem Billions of hypocrites play this game.
You never addressed this point but I’ll say it again because its at the heart of many conflicts in the world. When some group is a minority in someone else’s homeland they cry persecution when treated as unequally. There they argue for human rights, pluralism and support migrants. For the homeland though the tune changes.
Humans have two principled options in terms of nationalism.. Bring ethnic homelands to an end in lew purely citizenship based legal jurisdictions. Or change our definitions of human rights and democracy to more closely match what nations do rather than just say when it comes to ethnic homelands.
IMO the current status quo of hypocrisy is not unsustainable. Unless something changes, there is a high degree of probability it will one day end in nuclear warfare due to all the bickering and conflicts this unprincipled behavior causes.
