On a larger, global, ideological level we’ll have to resolve this issue of homelands.
I’ve said this many times before, the current definition of human rights are not compatible with the concept homelands. Unfortunately rather than address this issue like adults by tweaking ours definitions of basic rights so everyone can meet them, there is a game going on where nearly everyone cries persecution when treated as something less than exact equal when a minority on someone else’s homeland.. then contradicts themselves with their own homeland where they want special treatment.
This contradiction, is not just related to middle east or Balkan conflicts. It evolves every nation and is a constant source of conflict in the world. Rather than status quo of virtue signaling over a fake definition of “human rights” no one completely follows, It was be much better to resolve it an manner fair for all so we can focus on trade rather than hatred of the other and conflict. We need to adjust our definitions of human rights to match what all humans are willing to agree to not just tell the other guy to do.
