At the beginning of 1882, the number of Jews living in Palestine was zero and then they began to arrive and by 1948, there were over 600,000 of them in Palestine! What they had in mind according to the Zionist leaders was to occupy the entire region from the River Nile to the Euphrates River. Theodor Herzl wrote in his diaries saying that he would be demanding the entire region. At that time, there were only 10 million Jews in the world. What he had expected to do with that huge amount of land and the Jews were so few is hard to understand.
