If there is no afterlife and this is all there is then there is no basis for focusing upon anything other than your own immediate pleasure because there is no objective moral standard outside of yourself…right? To be consistent, then, it would make no moral difference to you whether all the Palestinians get killed or all the “Israelis” get killed or no one gets killed and they all just go get pizza together. Its all the same because any concept of “right” or “wrong” dissolve into meaninglessness if there is no reward nor punishment from an afterlife that is administered by God.
