It has been only eight months of war, but slowly but surely, the jihadi war machine is being weakened, not only in Gaza, but in the West Bank as well. Wars are so easily triggered, but not so easily stopped. A third of the Gazan jihadi combatants have been killed. Another third no longer capable of fighting due to injuries and/or capture. But still a third a busy fighting the IDF. And about two thirds of the tunnelling is still semi-functioning. Perhaps in eighteen months to two years we will see a much greater weakening of the Gazan killing machine.
