Are you aware that there are 129 fully-functioning synagogues in Iran? And that a seat on the Iranian national assembly (or whatever they call their governing body) is reserved for a Jewish representative – this being in addition to the full franchise Iran accords to all its citizens , Jewish or otherwise?
Do you know that the then king of Morocco was s loathe to lose his Jewish citizens when Israel came calling that he made Israel pay for every Jews it airlifted to fill menial tasks in Israel? Or that no a few so disliked it there that they returned to Morocco as soon as they could raise the fare?
Do you know that in thee Old City of Damascus, dozens of empty Jewish homes are falling apart because the Syrian government will not allow them to be taken over bu Syrians “because one day their owners might return”.
Those are only a few of the countries I’ve been to, and witnessed things for myself.
