The Nazis or fascists never went away. They came home from the war and didn’t even need to change their names. They didn’t have to apologise, not that they would because they probably still believed they were right.
They just carried on with life, free from prosecution. It’s said the German Justice Ministry of the 1950s had more ‘ex’ Nazis than Hitler’s Justice Ministry.
You look at them now and although the target of their inhumanity has changed, their callous disregard for human life and suffering has not.
They still hate Russians as NATOs attempts to encircle Russia shows.
