Probably the jihadis are NOT demanding an end to the war. Their whole thing is being in a holy war. So as long as they breath, they fight. So somewhere, the symbolic jihadis wearing expensive suits and staying in cushy hotels play the cease-fire ping pong match, but the jihadis in combat, keep fighting until martyrdom attempting to send as many IDFers to their graves before hand. With out death and destruction, the jihadis do not get their funding. The destabilising funder states need war, to create regional chaos.
