The main factor that made it possible for a religious and ethnic minority in the Middle East (the Jews), to achieve their present status and affluence, free of the historical persecution and discrimination to which they were subjected in the past are some of the strongest reasons that justify a different stance in Israel’s case. They cannot be forced to be absorbed into the Islamic world because of international opinions, mainly because Jews have earned the right to never again rely on international law and opinions for their protection. It is that simple.
The occupation is a result of Arab terrorism and Arab wars against the Jewish State. Israel was a constant target prior to 1967, before there was a single Jewish settlement in the West Bank and Gaza, when both were occupied by Jordan and Egypt. Since then, Jordan and Egypt have maintained a peace treaty with Israel for decades because they have secured their borders. Jordan and Egypt have far bigger problems with Islamists than with Jews.
