The only lies explicitly & absolutely forbidden are those which knowingly or carelessly slander somebody’s good name.

“If God et al is real what’s with all the wars?”
He’s real but He’s not a tyrant; doesn’t ‘force’ Himself on anybody. War is ultimately the consequence of the Creation’s rejection of Him.
