Re: Palestine This Week: The Nuseirat camp massacre

When Hamas/Gaza use ambulances to transport soldiers and munitions, those are no longer ambulances but legitimate war targets. When Hamas/Gaza allow schools to be used as headquarters, to store munitions and to hide their operatives, then these automatically become legitimate war targets. When Hamas/Gaza permit mosques to be used for military purposes, they are also no longer mosques but subject to be attacked. When residents of Gaza permit Hamas to store rockets, mortars and other munitions in their backyards, that is a problem they created for themselves and they have to suffer the consequences. When residents of Gaza go up on the roof of high ranking Hamas members houses to prevent them from being attacked, that is complicity so those people are not innocent. During the “great march of return” which lasted over 1.5 years, Hamas bussed women and children each week to the front lines of this uprising where 46 children were killed and around 8,000 injured. What kind of parents allow this??? When Hamas builds a terror beneath an UNRWA built school, they are once again using civilians as human shields. So I have to ask, what was Israel supposed to do on Oct. 7 when Gaza fired over 5,000 rockets into their country? Are they just supposed to say, well we can’t shoot back because Hamas is hiding behind civilians who may get killed so we can’t do that. So in other words Israel can’t defend itself?
