Mr. Netanyahu is maybe telling the truth, when he says, that this war will fill the history books in the future, maybe the israeli school books will describe it as heroic, but in the most parts of the world it will be the complete opposite. There is not much positive aspects to put in history books about this warfare. The backlash of it will he felt iong after the current Israeli or US-Government is gone. At the moment a total grip on information by censorship, the repeating of official narratives, keeps the framing of it as a heroic war, but there will be a time where it would backfire and felt within Israel too. The most current Leaders in the government would no longer be there to blame, when the stain and fallout of this warfare will tell a history, anything else but heroic. At least in the most parts of the world, the threshold to ignore it is simply to high, the scale of death and destruction as well as the hatred against a whole group of people, how dehumanizing worked to fuelling the flames of hatred, to deep rooted and well known in the world, to just ignore it, so it is true, it will be written in history books but most likely not for a more positive standing of Israel in the world.
