No. I expect Biden to hold Israel accountable for violating rules of war AND to stick to US Laws currently in place that forbid the use of US arms and money in any war effort that commits war crimes OR interferes with humanitarian efforts. Israel has done both of those acts. Netanyahu and his right-wing government are, in fact, by word and by deed FASCISTS. The only thing they will pay attention to is growing international condemnation AND the US withholding its support unless Israel puts the well being of millions of Palestinians FIRST and stops its indiscriminate bombing that is killing innocent woman and children. Upholding rules already in place is not abandoning Israel any different than telling a misbehaving child that they cannot go out and play unless they stop their inappropriate behavior. Holding the line is not abandoning. It is guiding Israel to do the right thing. Not holding the line only encourages this completely unacceptable behavior by Israel.
