In 1953 at the age of 25, Chomsky and his wife moved to Palestine to live there forever. 1953 was not that many years away from 1948 when the European Jews committed so many horrific crimes against the indigenous people of Palestine including rapes, massacres, and the expulsion of 90% of the indigenous population.
