The people living there were not Palestinians. The name “Palestine” itself did not even exist until more than 1000 years after King David made Jerusalem the capital of his united Jewish kingdom of Judah and Israel.
The name “Palestine” was given to the region by the Romans after the revolt of “the people living there”, as you called them—the Jews. And it wasn’t the name of some state or kingdom, but simply of a Roman province so that a “Palestinian” was someone who came from this province and revolted against the Romans—the Jews.
After the Roman Empire fell into ruin the name “Palestine” died a natural death. This was more than 1000 years before one single Muslim Arab existed on the face of the earth. It was resurrected by the British after WWI. Yet again, it wasn’t the name of a state but the name of the British Mandate.
at that time, barely a century ago, Palestine included today’s Israel, Gaza, Judea, Samaria and all the territory that today in known at the Kingdom of Jordan.
So you would think that if those Arabs who migrated to “Palestine” and who call themselves “Palestinians” were fighting to get back the land they occupied they would be lobbing rockets on Jordan, which was part of that same land called “Palestine”. But they don’t. The reason? These Muslim Arab immigrants don’t care about a “Palestine”. All they care about is the genocide of the Jews (and the Christians after them).
“Palestine” is just a pathetic excuse to justify what the U.N. has never condemned or done anything about—the genocide of the Jews.
