A former head of Israel’s Shin Bet security agency has said that, “If we shall not end the occupation, we shall not have security,” before adding, “and if we shall not end this occupation, we shall not have democracy.”
Another statement of the obvious! What is it with these ‘leaders’ saying what is obvious to the average looker on? Maybe they realize it’s obvious now and want to go on record? They don’t want to be culpable when the historical reckoning happens? I can’t think of any other reason for them coming out now!
