It is clear how the UN General Assembly UN Resolution 181’s “recommendations” late in 1947 . . . have consistently been interpreted by militant Zionism as excuse for their outrageous policies of dispossession and annexation.
But! The extent to which even these recommendations were overstepped in 1948 and later as the Nakba proceeded, is astonishing! (One has only to look closely at the maps that accompanied 181 – to understand that this is so.)
