I must admit that my knowledge about Libya is not strong but there was no any Arab ruler who was willing to relinquish power in a democratic fashion but they were waiting around like kings to pass power to their children! Think about Ali Abdullah Saleh of Yemen, Mubarak of Egypt, Gaddafi of Libya, Saddam Hussein of Iraq, But Gaddafi was the worst of them, he was shuffling around wrapped around in Halloween costumes trying to make himself look majestic!
