I decided to do some research comparing the population growth of Turkey versus Egypt and I came to learn that in 1950, both countries had the same population of 20 million each and both of them ranking 20th in population size. What I also learned was that their population growth was the same between 1950 and 1990 but beginning in 2000, the population of Egypt was growing at a much faster rate. I do not believe that the huge population growth in Egypt is beneficial for the people of the land because they would be competing for scarce resources.
