Hardly unique. But I have never heard a good explanation for why it is only one party in the conflict that is called on to stop fighting, while the other party could bring peace in a number of ways.
Actually that’s not quite true. Some Americans call on Israel to stop because the IDF is supported by American tax dollars. I disagree but there is at least some rationality there.
