Maybe worth pointing out that if you have accepted citizenship elsewhere, you have effectively renounced your British citizenship as they do not allow dual citizenship. Therefore you can no more go back to the UK than I can go “back” to Ukraine or Belarus, nor Israelis to whatever their ancestry is.
