and has never forgotten it, nor abandoned the hope of an eventual return.
It’s in the OT, NT, the Quran, the Talmud, and medieval Jewish halachic and poetic literature.
It’s in archeology, Jewish prayers, holidays and ceremonies.
All we’re missing is someone who was alive 2000 years ago who says:
I was there and I know better.
