The Balfour declaration
His Majesty’s Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavors to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.
The man was extremely arrogant because he believed that he had the goddamn right to give Arab land to a group of Europeans known as the Ashkenazi. He never did mention why a European people should have their state in the Middle East, a region that was completely alien to them instead of giving them a piece of land in Europe where they belong and where they lived for centuries. Of course the most obvious reason was because the European Jews were extremely hated in Europe and they were looking around for a place to get rid of them!
