What is being said here is all well and good but Israel is spiraling down a slope, gaining speed and I don’t see any way out for them. The outcome of this trajectory is almost inevitable at this point. Israel is a pariah state. The protection of the US can no longer prevent them from the consequences of their violence. In fact, the US is now suffering severe reputational damage as a result of its protection of the genocide.
How is the US suffering? Look at their attempts to manipulate international public opinion against Maduro in the most recent Venezuelan election. They are getting absolutely no traction with that. In fact, their statements against Maduro are being virtually ignored by the world.
US attempt to overthrow the Bolivian govt? Everybody in the world acknowledges US fingerprints all over that attempted coup. Even the US PR line that the President of Bolivia was behind it was dismissed out of hand. And the hits keep coming.
Next, the Tuareg attack on the Malian govt and Wagner troops in the Sahel. Ukraine took credit for providing the military intelligence for that attack. However, everyone and his brother knows that Ukraine gets its military intelligence from the US. So, in effect, it was the US who provided the intelligence for the attack on Malian soldiers. And the Malian govt knows it. US response to being caught out? US troops that were supposed to leave Agadez base by September 15 were suddenly ready to leave Mali yesterday! And they did. They left in a rush. Why? Because US troops there were now exposed to retaliation in forms that were not predictable.
And in the middle of all of this, Kim Jung Un in North Korea decides to move 250 ballistic missile launchers close to his border with South Korea and close US bases there. Talk about a middle finger! What can US do at this point if North Korea suddenly decides it’s a fine time to conduct some ballistic missile tests? I dunno. Most of US front edge assets are in the Middle east waiting to defend Israel, from a problem of their own making.
And of course we haven’t even touched that disaster in Ukraine. Even Zelensky is ready for peace talks to put an end to it. Of course he will not be allowed to pursue that path unless Trump wins the election.
So yeah, US has 99 problems and Israel is one of them. Israel is making more problems for US! And may quite likely drag the US down with it.
