There was never a time in the history of the universe that the Ashkenazi had ever set foot anywhere in Palestine or anywhere else in the Middle East. These are a completely foreign people to the region. The first time ever that the Ashkenazi had come to Palestine was never before 1882. So the question is this: why are these Orthodox Jews in Palestine? Who gave them permission to enter Palestine? Who gave them permission to live in Palestine? If the Palestinians were to gain independence, would they quietly get out of there or will they with fight back to remain there without the consent of the indigenous population?
