You are correct, but you must remember that Gaza cannot authorize any stoppage of war or the return of hostages. Since 2006, Hamas has full control of the strip and now calls all the shots. Hamas doesn’t care how many people in Gaza are killed or injured or how much damage is done. Hamas agenda is one only, to make war and destroy Israel. Gaza is powerless to fight against Hamas. If Israel doesn’t destroy Hamas, Iran will just re-arm and re-supply Hamas to start a 6th war. The same goes for Lebanon. Hezbollah was allowed into their government while keeping their weapons, and now the same thing has happened to them. Both these terrorist Iran proxies use civilians as human shields, a war crime. These proxies don’t follow any rules of war. The will use ambulances to transport men and munitions. They will use schools, mosques, hospitals as well as many other places to hide munitions and operatives. I am sure the people of Gaza are aware of this but they continue to back Hamas and congregate at these places, knowing full well they could be killed. What Hamas is hoping is that the reporting of civilian deaths in these places will stir the world community into believing it is Israel who is committing war crimes.
