Hamas could have saved the good people of Gaza ten months of grief and chaos if they would just put down their weapons and release all the hostages. There was never going to a safe zone for Hamas after their genocidal slaughter of 1200 Israeli men, women, and children and the rounding up of hundreds of hostages of all ages.
