Re: BREAKING: Israel kills 100 Palestinians performing fajr prayer in Gaza

Here’s my position:
Over a hundred years ago the time had come,
the divine decision to end the exile came into operation.
Herzl got people thinking about Aliyah, but few came.
The Balfour declaration and the LoN Mandate were an invitation by the
sovereign to immigrate, but few come.
Adolf H. campaigns in Germany on a platform of the
humiliations of Versailles, with a lot of anti-Semitism mixed in,
but still, few Jews leave.
Adolf comes to power, more Jews leave than before,
but not in large numbers.
As life became more and more difficult,
more Jews emigrated, but still not enough.
After the holocaust, survivors came in large numbers.

Imagine what would have happened if by 1930 there would have been
a million Jews in Palestine, and by 1940, two million.
Arabs would have found some kind of modus vivendi with
their new neighbors, if only because of the prosperity and
jobs they were bringing, and the futility of violent opposition
would have been clear.
Palestine, by whatever name, could have been a Paradise on Earth.
Arab fanaticism, mostly religious, made it impossible.
