Wrong! Semites are people whose language is a Semitic language and there are only two groups of Semites in the world: all the people whose language is Arabic and all the people of Ethiopia. The only Semitic Jews are the Ethiopian Jews because they spoke a Semitic language. The Ashkenazi were Yiddish speakers and learning Hebrew by going to night school does not make them a Semitic people.
