The Ashkenazi never lived anywhere in the Middle East or in any Muslim country and therefore they were completely unknown to the Muslims of the world but they were intimately known to the Christians of Europe who hated them so much that they were desperately looking for a place to get rid of them. Unfortunately for the Palestinians, that removal place wound up being Palestine.
