There are many ways, economic and financial, to put into action that can punish Israel and her backers. Saudi Arabia and Qatar can decide to use oil and gas as a trump card, while Jordan can deny passage of goods into Israel through her border. They can decide to dinvest interests in US stocks, especially the Saudis, and diversify the use of dollar as a reserve currency.. These measures will put economic stress on the West and weaken the dollar, which remains the only source of pride by the US.
