They all lost their heads desperate to press for an unconditional surrender of their opponents
This war will definitely become a nightmarish example of the loss of any sense of humanity, driven by a systemic hatred for a group of people which was long besieged and dehumanized.
Despite many failures and friendly fire on Okt.7, when besieged armed groups broke trough the siege, which ended in a horrific massacre, everybody condemns such violence. What followed would go down in history how barbaric and cruel human beings easily become in their desperate will to destroy their enemy, where the war is ever more escalating, while the senses of humanity get lost and leaders loose their heads and minds by hatred.
Instead of come to mind again, it just is escalating.
