It would be a first step to accept the inalienable rights of the palestinians to adopt the ICJ advisory opinion and the obligations for UN-Member States, not to legitimise the unlawful occupation and not to aid the occupying state to prolong the unlawful occupation. Settlers who are illegally occupy palestinian territory should be encouraged to evacuate and abide by the international law, to prevent them of visa free entry would be a measure to accept and adopt that these settlers and the settlements are illegal and are in violation of the Geneva Convention.
Another point is, that it shouldn’t be the unlawful occupier, to grant visas to the occupied territory, which totally undermines the rights of the palestinians to their land and self-determination, even to give it to an interim Body like Sigrid Kaag had established for aid and reconstruction would be take the veto to self-determination of the unlawful occupier.
It didn’t has be trade sanction, which would stress economies, but also the finances shouldn’t be any longer in the hands of the party who is in breach of the geneva convention and willing to keep the occupation and oppression, by not accepting the rights of the palestinian people or ICJ orders.
