During the 1919 Paris Peace Conference, the European Jews were feeling extremely arrogant because they said that without them that the Allies could not have won World War I and therefore they were demanding their rewards and what they wanted was all of Palestine + huge amount of land from Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan. They did not get what they wanted but they are still trying. Here is the map that they presented at the Paris Peace Conference:
