The Syrian people were out there defending Arab interests in 1948, 1967, 1973, all the way to today! How many Arab countries could say they have done that? I will admit that I have not spent enough time trying to understand why President Erdogan of Turkey went from being a friend of President Bashar al-Assad of Syria to being a deadly enemy? The only reason that comes to mind is that President Erdogan is motivated by sectarianism.
