Netanyahu does not care how many Israelis are bereaved or what will happen to the hostages. None of his family members is at the front or amongst the kidnap. His political survival is what concerns him. At least, this war exposes the vulnerability of the IDF. The missiles defenses are not what they advertised and without the US military assistance, IDF can’t move 500 metres beyond the occupied territories.
