Sadly turkeys democracy is still under threat by Erdogan and his APK party.
Maybe if he had given his economy the same attention as he gives to suppressing the Kurds, his econony would be in a better shape.
Still, his acts prevent Turkey from becoming an EU member, as a semi democratic state will not be accepted in the EU, nor one that has faulthy economic policies.
