Clearly. The Arab and Islamic communities contributed to Trump winning in Michigan, an important swing state. But that wasn’t the deciding factor in the election. Trump won all the other swing states as well. He didn’t need Michigan.
Exit interviews of voters suggest that the bad economy was the #1 issue on people’s minds, particularly high inflation and low wages. The Biden government lied about this issue for four years, claiming the economy is great. People know if they’re doing well economically or not, and can see right through those lies.
The #2 issue on people’s minds was immigration at the Mexican border, a boogeyman that politicians of both parties use to whip up hysteria. The United States is being invaded by an army from the south – an army of hard-working, devoutly Christian, deeply family-oriented people, who are willing and able to do the jobs most people won’t or can’t do. Yikes!
The issue of the Gaza genocide was far down the list of voter complaints. It was the reason I personally did not vote for Harris (I voted for Jill Stein), but it wasn’t what cost Harris the election.
In general, Harris comes off as a mindless chattering robot. If she has a coherent thought in her brain, I can’t imagine what it is. Trump, on the other hand, is highly entertaining, even if you hate him. The country is going down the tubes. Might as well have a few laughs along the way.
