Many Germans are worried that their industrial and service sectors labourers will pack up and head back to their countries of origin. There are about 400,000 foreign workers in Germany with temporary work visas. There are approximately 2.7 million registered unemployed. It is not clear if the 2.7 million would be able to do the work of the 400k.
