It is just the opposite, as Hamas came into Israel to purposely kill and kidnap Israeli men, women, and children to intentionally invite Israel into Gaza. Hamas had to know that is was not going to go well for Gaza. Hamas also uses their own people as human shields, using public facilities to hide military assets and terrorists.
