The death toll of Gazans is unverifiable to date, but we can estimate that about half of the jihadis have been incapacitated to the point that they can no longer fight. Due to various motives: injuries, deaths, high-tailing it, being detainees and POWs. We still do not know how many have decomposed under the rubble.
The IDF has had many injuries and deaths. But the IDF ground troops have advanced aerial and smart infantry ordnance support. The IDF greater weapons technology allows it to dictate the rate of war and combat. This minimises personnel and equipment loss, in order to expand when necessary to the other potential war fronts.
